Swingbyte announced a strategic partnership with Guru Training Systems, creating golf’s first fully integrated 3-D video and club metrics system. Golfers and instructors will now have access to full 3-D body and club analysis throughout the swing via Swinguru Pro.
Brussels-based Guru Training Systems specializes in the 3-D analysis of sports movement. Using its 3-D motion capture technology, Swinguru Pro brings a new dimension to golf training and teaching by analyzing golf swings in real time without any markers on the body.
Introduced in 2012, Swingbyte uses a lightweight sensor, an advanced mathematical algorithm and Bluetooth connectivity to digitize a golfer’s swing and communicate in real time key swing measurements including club head speed, swing path and impact angles.
